The team at SFL have spent longer than usual selecting the shortlist for the 2018 challenge. The quality of production, writing and performance was outstanding and it took lots of discussions to come up with the list.
We feel that the ones selected are incredible examples of what can be done with little or no budget in an extremely narrow time frame.
Well done to all those who took part and completed a film in the weekend - you should be very proud.
We will announce our special mentions tomorrow, these are films that we enjoyed for various reasons. But for now, here is the official shortlist which will go before our main jury.
